Here are some FAQs that will assist you with your online banking needs

What do I do if I forgot the answers to my security questions in Online Banking?

In the event that you are asked to answer your security questions and you do not remember your answers, you may re-enroll in Online Banking using the “forgot your password” link on the log on page. By re-enrolling in Online Banking, your pending Online Banking bill payments or transfers will not be affected and you will not need to update any of your Online Banking preferences such as email address or statement preferences.

What is the difference between mobile banking and online banking?

Online Banking is the primary way to manage your mobile or online interface. Mobile banking will allow you to complete many functions such as transferring funds, checking balances, depositing checks, paying and managing bills and locating an ATM. Online Banking has those features and many others.

How do I apply or enroll in online banking?

To enroll for Online Banking, click on the “First Time User” link in the Online Banking login box on the home page. You will be asked to provide your account number, email address on file at the credit union and your last name for verification. A temporary password will then be emailed to you. Once received, enter your temporary password. Then follow the simple instructions and you will be on your way to banking online.

I forgot my Online Banking password.

Browse to www.dccu.com and click on “Forgot Password/Unlock Account?” below the login button. Provide us with your account number, email address and name and we will email you a temporary password to the primary email address on file. You may also contact Member Services at (800) 338-6739 for additional assistance.

Can I change my online banking password?

Within Online Banking, click on the Black Settings Gear in the upper right of your screen.  Select Contact Info, and then select Change Password.   From there you may update your password based on the requirements listed on this page.

Why am I locked out of Online Banking?

We allow for several failed attempts before our system will freeze your login screen. Once a successful attempt is made, the counter is set back to zero. This is to prevent password guessing. To have your account unlocked, you may browse to www.dccu.com and click  on “Forgot Password/Unlock Account” link below the login button. You will be prompted for your account number, email address on file and last name on the account. You may also call us at (800) 338-6739 for additional assistance.

Can I skip the security question set up page in online banking?

No, you will not be able to skip the Security Questions page when logging into Online Banking. It is important that you choose your questions and answers because they serve as an additional layer of security for your account.

How do I change online banking security quesitons?

You can change your Online Banking security questions by logging into Online Banking, then select the Black Settings Gear Wheel in the upper right corner.  Select Settings, then select Security Questions and Answers.

Will I need to reschedule my pending bill payments or transfers in online banking if I re-enroll using the "Forgot Your Password?" link on the login screen?

No, your pending Online Banking bill payments or transfers will not be affected by re-enrolling in Online Banking. Also, you will not need to update any of your Online Banking preferences such as email address or statement preferences.

Is there a monthly fee for online banking and/or online bill payment?

No, there are no fees for Online Banking, and we offer unlimited Online Bill Payment FREE for all members who have online or mobile banking account access!

How much of my account history can I view in online banking?

You may obtain up to 360 days of activity through six months of activity through Online Banking. You can also view up to 15 months of statements in Online Banking if you are enrolled in eStatements.

How do I access my VISA card in online banking?

You can track and manage your VISA credit card through MyCardInfo located in Online Banking. While logged into Online Banking, select the Account Manage Cards from the top menu, then select Credit Card Site.

You may also select the Orange Gear wheel to the left of your credit card and click on Manage Credit Card. Both of these options launch to MyCardInfo where you can make payments and view additional credit card information.

Can I print out my statement using online banking?

Yes. If you have already enrolled in eStatements, simply select Account Info once logged into Online Banking.  Next, select eDocuments.  Fifteen months of statements are available from the date of enrollment. Though eStatements can be viewed online, you have the option of downloading and/or printing your statement.

Are there any service fees for using online banking?

No, there are no fees to use Online Banking at Deere Employees Credit Union.

Can I view a copy of my cleared check on online banking?

You can view copies of your cleared checks by clicking on the “View Image” link next to the check number in your account history.If you are unable to retrieve a check image, please call (800) 338-6739 or, in Online Banking, click on the “Contact Us “ on the menu at the top of the page to send us a secure email with your request.

In online banking, is it possible to transfer money from my account at the Credit Union to someone else's account at the Credit Union?

Yes it is. Once in Online Banking, click on the “Transfers” tab in the menu on the top. In the “To:” section, select “Other Member”. You will need to know the members last name / account number / Share or Loan ID in order to make this transaction.

What types of accounts can be viewed with online banking?

You can view of all your accounts with Deere Employees Credit Union through Online Banking.

How do I access bill payment in online banking?

When in Online Banking, click on “Bill Payment” under the Services tab.

How do I withdraw a check in online banking?

When in Online Banking, select the gear wheel to the left of the share you want the funds to be withdrawn from. The Account Actions menu will appear. Then select Withdraw by Check from the list of options.

How do I make a Credit Card payment in Online Banking?

While logged into Online Banking, select the Account Information tab towards the top left of the page and click on the Credit Card Link. You may also select the gear wheel to the left of your credit card and click on Manage Card. Both of these options launch My Card Info where you can make payments and view additional credit card information. If you have additional questions, please contact Member Services at (800) 338-6739.

Are my Online Banking transactions secure?

Yes. Deere Employees Credit Union provides secure financial services through a protocol known as the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL). This protocol prevents other computers from eavesdropping by encrypting all data transmitted between our site and your computer. The Secure Sockets Layer sends your browser a signed, non-forgeable, digital certificate to validate our site to you.

I am locked out of Online Banking, how do I reset my password?

On the right side of the main website, click on “Forgot Password/Unlock Account”. You will be prompted for your account number, email address we have on file and last name on the account. You will then be emailed a temporary password. The temporary password is valid for 7 days and is case sensitive. Once you enter the temporary password, you will be prompted to create your own. You may also call us at (800) 338-6739 for assistance from one of our representatives.

If another member transfers money into my account in Online Banking, can they see my balance?

No, the person transferring the money to your account can not see any of your balances.

Why am I being asked a security question when I try to log in to Online Banking?

You are being asked a security question as an extra measure to ensure your identity. If you cannot remember your answer, please contact Member Services at (800) 338-6739.

Who can I call if I am having technical problems with Online Banking?

Questions may be handled by calling Member Services at (800) 338-6739.

How do I transfer to another financial institution using Online Banking?

Once Logged into Online Banking, select Transfers from the Menu across the top of the page.  Next select, Other Institutions.  This will take you to the screen where you can add accounts to your list (which does save for future transactions) and also to schedule a transfer.  Please be advised, these transfers take 1-3 business days to process.

How do I order checks through Online Banking?

Once Logged into Online Banking, select the orange gear wheel next to your checking account.  Next select, Order Checks.  Several options are presented, including Quick Reorder which will place your last check order into production. Follow the onscreen prompts to make edits or to place your order.
