Online Banking is your DECU branch at your fingertips with the latest in technology for rendering content on any screen. Here are few things to know about Online Banking:

  • “Panels” help to organize information by grouping data or separating functions such as the Quick Transfer Panel.
  • View your account history, including VISA® transactions and information either using the menu tab across the top, or selecting the Orange * Gear

The Gear Icon at the top right of the screen navigates to:

  • Profile changes such as Access ID, email, password, address and phone number
  • Settings changes
  • View Login History

Plus, Online Banking helps you do these and many more transactions:

  • Transfer money between accounts
  • Apply for a loan
  • Pay bills
  • Deposit checks
  • Order checks
  • Set up email Account Alerts
  • Open additional savings, certificates or money market accounts

How do I apply or enroll in Online Banking?

To enroll for Online Banking, click on the “First Time User” link in the Online Banking login box on the home page.  You will be asked to provide your account number, email address on file at the credit union and your last name for verification. A temporary password will then be emailed to you.  Once received, enter your temporary password.  Then follow the simple instructions and you will be on your way to banking online.

Can I change my Online Banking password?

Within Online Banking, select the black Settings Gear in the upper right corner of the screen.  Next select Contact Info and then select Change Password. From there you may update your password based on the requirements listed on this page.

What is the difference between mobile banking (mBanking) and Online Banking?

Online Banking is the primary way to manage your mobile or online interface. Mobile banking will allow you to complete many functions such as transferring funds, checking balances, depositing checks, paying and managing bills and locating an ATM. Online Banking has those features and many others.

What do I do if I forgot the answers to my security questions in Online Banking?

In the event that you are asked to answer your security questions and you do not remember your answers, you may re-enroll in Online Banking using the “forgot your password” link on the log on page.  By re-enrolling in Online Banking, your pending Online Banking bill payments or transfers will not be affected and you will not need to update any of your Online Banking preferences such as email address or statement preferences.

Can I print out my statement using Online Banking?

Yes. If you have already enrolled in eStatements, simply select the eStatement link within Online Banking under the “Account Information” tab to view your statement. Thirteen months of statements are available from the date of enrollment. Though eStatements are able to be viewed online, you may want to print and/or save your statements.

Will I need to reschedule my pending bill payments or transfers in Online Banking if I re-enroll using the “Forgot Your Password?” link on the Login screen?

No, your pending Online Banking bill payments or transfers will not be affected by re-enrolling in Online Banking. Also, you will not need to update any of your Online Banking preferences such as email address or statement preferences.

Is there a monthly fee for Online Banking and/or Online Bill Payment?

No, there are no fees for Online Banking, and we offer unlimited Online Bill Payment FREE for all members who have online or mobile banking account access!

How much of my account history can I view in Online Banking?

You may obtain six months of activity through Online Banking.  You can also view up to 13 months of statements in Online Banking if you are enrolled in eStatements.

How do I access my VISA card in Online Banking?

You can track and manage your VISA credit card in Online Banking.

Once logged into Online Banking, select the Manage Cards tab from the menu bar and then select Credit Card Site.

You may also select the Orange Gear wheel to the left of your credit card and click on Manage Card.

Both options will launch to the credit card site where you can make payments and view additional credit card information.

Can I view a copy of my cleared check on Online Banking?

You can view copies of your cleared checks by clicking on the “View Image” link next to the check number in your account history.  If you are unable to retrieve a draft image, please call (800) 338-6739 or, in Online Banking, click on the “Contact Us “ on the menu at the top of the page to send us a secure email with your request.

How do I withdraw a check in Online Banking?

When in Online Banking, select the Orange Gear wheel to the left of the share you want the funds to be withdrawn from. The Account Actions menu will appear. Then select Withdrawal by Check from the list of options.

In Online Banking, is it possible to transfer money from my account at the Credit Union to someone else's account at the Credit Union?

Yes.  From the Quick Transfer Panel, or from the Transfer tab along the top menu bar, you will enter in the “To:” section,select “Other Member”. You will need to know the members last name / account number / Share or Loan ID in order to make this transaction.

How do I change Online Banking security questions?

You can change your Online Banking security questions by logging into Online Banking, then select the My Profile tab.

Then select the Black Settings Gear in the upper right corner of the screen.

Next select, Security Questions and Answers.

What is new with Online Banking Security?

On Tuesday 1/21/14, Online Banking will be upgraded to a new platform.  The new platform password requirements have increased to protect for account.  Please read below for more information about the new requirements and update your password.  Your password must be between 8 and 20 alphanumeric characters (a-z, 0-9). Capital letters (A-Z) and only these special characters can be used !#$%&()+,/;?[\]^`{|}*’  Please note that you cannot use the following as a new password:  Your personal information, such as Social Security Number, mailing address, birth date Commonly used words, such as “password” Consecutive or repetitive passwords, such as “1234” “aaaa” We have also provided new Security Questions for you to provide us a second level of authentication.  When you access the new Online Banking for the first time, you will be required to provide us with updated question/answers.

Are my Online Banking transactions secure?

Yes. Deere Employees Credit Union provides secure financial services through a protocol known as the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL).  This protocol prevents other computers from eavesdropping by encrypting all data transmitted between our site and your computer.  The Secure Sockets Layer sends your browser a signed, non-forgeable, digital certificate to validate our site to you.
