Deere Employees Credit Union is excited to introduce new benefits to our Visa® credit card members. As a valued cardholder, we make it our priority to deliver the best member service experience by keeping you informed of upcoming changes and enhancements to your Visa credit card account.  

While we’re updating your Visa program, you may notice a few temporary interruptions:

Your current Visa credit card will operate exactly as it does today without any purchase interruptions. The interruptions you may run across during the week we update our systems include:

· Credit card access through online banking and mobile banking:

These interruptions will primarily be during the weekend of Friday, February 17th through Wednesday, February 22nd. During this time, our call center at 855-779-1061 will be available to assist you with your Visa banking needs.

· Rewards Redemption: Visa Platinum Plus cardholders will be unable to redeem points from February 1st  through February 22nd. Points will continue to accumulate with purchases. On February 22nd, Platinum Plus cardholders will be able to redeem all points in a new, improved CU Rewards program!

As part of our new Visa credit card enhancements, you’ll also notice a new look to your DECU Visa online account. Our NEW card management portal will allow you to make payments, report your card lost or stolen, dispute fraudulent charges, check your balance, view transactions-—24 hours a day,
7 days a week.

DECU offers Best in Market rates for all deposit and loan products.  We do not match competitor rates on credit cards nor do we lower the interest rate on cards. We monitor our cards based on credit scores and adjust the rate according to our credit card agreement.

Yes, you can do a balance transfer up to your available line of credit in Online Banking. Once logged in, click on the Credit Cards under Account Information tab. Once in MyCardInfo, click on the Account Services tab at the top. Here you will see the Balance Transfer option. If you are not an Online Banking user, you can contact Visa Card Services at (800) 234-5354.

To close a Visa credit card, you can send a secure email through Online Banking. Once logged in, click on "Contact Us” tab and select “Secure eMailBox”. If you are not an Online Banking user, you can contact the Credit Union Loan Servicing Department at (800) 338-6739.
